ZIRCONIUM TETRACHLORIDE，molecular formula：ZrCl4，a kind of white, lustrous crystal or powder that deliquesces easily. The colour of unpurified crude zirconium tetrachloride is primrose yellow. It’s the raw material for industrial production of zirconium metal and oxyzirconium chloride, it can also be used as analytical reagent, organic synthesis catalyst, waterproofing agent, tanning agent, the pharmaceutical factory uses it as catalyst.
